Salthill/Knocknacarra GAA

Scoil Róis has a long running partnership with our local GAA club, Salthill/Knocknacarra.
We have been lucky enough to welcome winning teams and are always especially proud to welcome back our past pupils. They inspire our young pupils and serve as fitting role models for our girls and boys.

Power Soccer

We have been very lucky in Scoil Róis to welcome John from Power Soccer to our school every week. His professional coaching and enthusiasm for the game is infectious and inspires both pupils and staff alike. The pupils look forward to John’s active and engaging sessions every week.

Connacht Rugby​

​We are also very lucky to have a running partnership with Connacht Rugby. We were delighted to welcome Philip for some beginner rugby sessions for our 5 th and 6 th classes earlier this year. The senior classes really enjoyed their introduction to rugby and developed their throwing and catching skills whilst having lots of fun.

Galway Lawn Tennis Club

Galway Lawn Tennis Club have kindly invited us to their club on Threadneedle Road for our Active Schools Week. All classes from 2nd to 6th class will get to try out badminton, tennis and pickleball.
