What is the Active Flag?

The Active School Flag is a Department of Education and Skills Initiative which recognises schools
that strive to achieve a physically active school community by rewarding them the Active School
Flag.

We have been working hard to renew our 4th Active School Flag this year. So far, this has been a very enjoyable and beneficial experience for the whole school community. 

Our Active School Commitee

​Pupils from 4th, 5th and 6th had the opportunity to apply for a position on the Active School
Committee. 14 members were selected and have worked so well together. They show great
enthusiasm and initiative at all times.

Our Active School Slogan

Don't lay back, Get on the track!
Ms.O'Brien's Junior Infants came up with the slogan this year.
