Fourth Class enjoyed some Autumn planting with Mrs. Forde today in our award winning school garden! Excitement was brewing in the corridors and halls of Scoil Rois for our annual Cake Sale today! It was a fantastic success. We raised a grand total of 1,100 euro! What a difference this money will make for our local charity COPE. We are so proud of all the boys and girls and want to extend our thanks to all staff and pupils involved.  Excitement is brewing for our Cake Sale in aid of COPE taking place this Thursday in Scoil Róis. Thank you to all who have donated toys and who are planning on baking for this great cause. We look forward to an exciting and giving day!
Friendship is blossoming in Scoil Róis! Thank you to Mia & Ella O'Donnell who represented Scoil Róis in the win a friendship bench competition at the Credit Union in Westside this week.  We were delighted to welcome back Physiotherapist, Karen Roberts, to our school this week. She spoke to us about the importance of having a good posture and gave us great tips on how to carry our school bags properly. Thank you Karen - we learned a lot! We love soccer and all things sport here in Scoil Róis! We are delighted to welcome back John Power from Power Soccer every Wednesday for his superb soccer coaching. Our skills are really improving! Great news! We are so proud to announce that Scoil Róis has won first prize in the Council's Best School Garden Awards!  |
