*Scoil Róis Sports Awards June 2019* We are so proud of all our sporting achievements this year. Today we honoured our superb Athletes, Gaelic Footballers, Soccer Stars & Mini Olympic Handball Players who have represented our school with pride & class. Well done to all! Wow! Scoil Róis have won a grand total of ELEVEN medals in the City Sports Competition! We are so proud of all our fantastic competitors & medal winners. Well done to all! Well done to Germany and Poland for making it through to our World Cup final! Well done also to Wales and Brazil for making it so far. They will compete in a 3rd/4th place play off on Friday. Congratulations to our Second Class boys and girls who received their First Holy Communion on Saturday. We had a special after party today in Scoil Róis to celebrate this momentous occasion. Well done to all! Seafest's Ocean Folklore Project 'How Galway got its name' was created by our very own fifth class! Poem by KT Connelly & Hannah Reddinton. Well done girls! What a great achievement!  Best wishes to our Second Class girls & boys who make their First Holy Communion today! Enjoy this special & memorable day.  |
