Fourth class really enjoyed their recent visit to Ballindooley Castle. Thank you to Mr. & Mrs. Haughian for their lovely invite and hospitality! Please note: School will close at 12 noon tomorrow. Well done to our third class students for completing the NUIG Italian Language Programme recently! 🇮🇹🍕 Congratulations to our World Book Day Competition Winners who are pictured below with Mrs. McCarra. One student from every class won a book token for Charlie Byrne's Bookshop. Well done to all! 👏 More good news! 👏 Congratulations to our Scoil Róis Soccer Team for getting through to the second round of the National Spar Primary School's Soccer Competition. Well done to all players involved! Thank you to Mrs. McNamara, Ms. Corcoran and John Power for all their great coaching and encouragement.  Well done to our Senior Mini Olympic Handball Team who qualified today for the next round of the County Galway Mini Olympic Handball Competition. We are so proud of you all! Thank you to Mrs. Breathnach and Mrs. Gaffney for all their great encouragement and coaching.  We really enjoyed all the lovely reading activities throughout the school and dressing up as our favourite characters during World Book Day in Scoil Róis! 📚 A big thank you to Mrs. Grogan, our very own Book Fairy😁, for all her great work. It was lovely to meet you all today at our Open Day!😊 We really enjoyed showing you what a special place Scoil Róis is.
