Due to the uncertainty regarding the weather and the possibility of unsafe conditions, Scoil Róis Open Afternoon scheduled for this Thursday has to be postponed to next Thursday 8th March from 12.30-2pm.❄🌨❄🌨  Scoil Róis Gaelic Football Team are doing so well at our weekly training sessions! A big thank you to former Galway County & Salthill Footballer, Conor McGauran, for all his superb coaching. First Class got a big surprise today when Yizheng' s mum brought in a lunch time treat from their Chinese Restaurant, Nut Hot! A big thank you for brightening up our Thursday! 😁👌🙌 Congratulations to our Second Class girls who made their First Confession this month!  Well done Scoil Róis for making this week's Operation Transformation!💪🏃♀️🏃♂️  On Thursday March 1st from 12.30-2.00 we will hold an Open Afternoon in our school for prospective students. Come and see our great school and meet all our super staff and students. We look forward to meeting you all and are proud to show you what a special place Scoil Róis is.  We are really enjoying our daily Operation Transformation 10@10 workout here in Scoil Róis! 🏃♂️❤🏃♀️ Well done to first class, pictured below, who are doing so well at keeping fit and spreading the word that children need at least 60 minutes of activity every day! 👍💪      Our Infant boys and girls had a great trip to Salthill Post Office this morning to post their Valentine's Day cards. They even got to meet our lovely postperson Linda! ❤✉✉✉❤     Congratulations to Holly Stephens, Katie O'Callaghan and Maria Haughian from fourth class who came 1st runner up in the national Folens Christmas Annuals poetry competition. We are so proud of this great achievement and team effort!  Third class have been busy this week working on their Lego Projects. Ms. Carney & Ms. Meaney are both delighted with their progress! 👍👏     |
