Fourth class, pictured below, were busy making St. Brigid's Day crosses today. Well done girls-it is great to learn this ancient and holy tradition.    Well done to our two quiz teams who took part in this year's Credit Union Quiz. Thank you to the students for representing Scoil Róis with pride and to their parents for bringing them to the event. We are super proud of you girls! 👏👍  We were highly entertained today in Dominican College, Taylor's Hill during their fantastic production of High School Musical. We gained so much from seeing this superb musical performance-thank you to our next door neighbours for the lovely invite and well done to all involved! 😊👍🎶👏  The boys and girls in our infant classes are really enjoying Aistear and learning through play! Senior Infants had a fantastic time last week bringing their sick teddy bears to hospital! They loved learning all about the work nurses and doctors do and how we can keep healthy😊👍
We are really benefiting from our morning workout every Wednesday as part of the national Operation Transformation campaign! Here in Scoil Róis we like to promote activity and healthy eating-"A healthy body=A healthy mind!" We were delighted to raise €1400 for Cope Galway during our annual Cake Sale last term. A big thank you to all the Scoil Róis community for their generosity.👏❤ It is great to support such a fantastic local charity.  |
